Gold, brown and white

My very first wedding centerpiece, with chocolate cupcakes in gold foil.

Special thanks to my sister and cousins who helped me arrange the cupcakes on the day.

Half of them were topped with buttercream, and the other half in chocolate ganache.

The top cake was a moist chocolate cake, filled with ganache in between the layers, and chocolate fingers around the base.

NOW, let’s take a closer look at the ‘behind the scenes’.

Starting with the wedding couple, shall we?

Isn’t that adorable? I want to get more of these!

And check out the scratches on the ground. Oh wow, the details!

Transporting the cakes (I’m so thankful for anti-slip mats that I put in the boxes)

.. and the stand. Imagine having to be in this position for 30 mins. Not very comfortable, people.

And finally, taking care of the cupcakes. They still got a little bit wet anyway.

But all iz vell 🙂

It’s been a fun week, of craft and baking. New project please!

    Dayah i love the way you do the piping! Its so perfect and looks like a rose!
